Literature Study: Implementation of Educational Game Media in Pancasila Education As A Vehicle to Increase Global Diversity Insights
Abstract
This research focuses on implementation of educational game media in Pancasila Education as a vehicle for the development of students' global diversity insights. The school environment, which has an important role in shaping and developing students' insights into global diversity, makes teachers, one of which strives to use various ways to provide knowledge and understanding of the culture, traditions, customs, and cultural values of each tribe, religion, and tribe. On the other hand, the existence of games that children always play has two different impacts on students, negative consequences and positive effects. Based on this impact, this game can be changed and modified as an educational game that can help develop students' characters. This study uses a literature study approach in the data analysis process. Information collected from various literature sources was then analyzed to find out how the implementation of educational games affects the development of students' global diversity insights. This analysis involves filtering, mapping, and synthesizing data from previous studies to identify findings that are consistent and relevant to the research objectives. Based on the literature study conducted, it can be concluded that educational games can be used in the development of students' global diversity insights because educational games can have a positive influence on motivation, interest, character development, learning experience, and learning outcomes in students. This research hopes to provide new insights into the use of educational games as a tool in learning Pancasila Education, especially in the aspect of global diversity insights in the school environment.
