Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning medium in the form of a Discovery Learning based chatbot website focusing on the topic of temperature and heat. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) utilizing the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) model. The Analyze stage identified students' learning needs and technological interests, while the Design stage focused on the learning flow, website structure, and chatbot system. During the Development stage, the design was realized into a functional chatbot website, followed by validation testing by experts. The Implementation stage involved classroom testing to observe the media’s performance in a real learning environment. Finally, the Evaluation stage measured the practicality of the media through user questionnaires covering interactivity and technical aspects. The results indicate that the developed chatbot website is valid and practical for physics learning in Grade XI. This study concludes that integrating AI-based chatbots within a Discovery Learning framework effectively supports conceptual understanding and provides an interactive learning experience for students.
