Article Processing Charges (APC)
All articles published in the Community Action and Social Transformation Journal (CAST Journal) are open access and freely available online immediately upon publication. This is made possible through an Article Processing Charge (APC) that covers a wide range of publishing services, including online tools for editors and authors, article production and hosting, liaison with abstracting and indexing services, and author support services.
We do not charge any submission fees. The APC is only payable once your manuscript has been editorially accepted for publication.
APC Rates (Effective July 20, 2026):
-
Indonesian Authors: IDR 1,000,000 per article
-
Foreign Authors: USD 65 per article
This APC covers peer review management, production, and publication costs. Taxes are excluded.

Funding Sources
Many institutions and funding agencies allow APCs to be covered through research grants. We encourage authors to explore funding opportunities provided by their institutions or research sponsors to support open access publishing.
